Josef Graber was born in 1885 in Przemysl in the southeast of Poland. He was the illegitimate son of Golda Graber. He attended a secondary school.

He moved to Berlin. Due to the address book of 1915 he was owner of a stocking manufactory in Steglitz, Mittelstraße.

He married Hadassa Altschüler, who came from Sadowa Wisznia in Galicia. When and where Josef and Hadassa were married is unknown.

Their son Samuel was born in Steglitz on the 3rd of April 1918.

Beneath the stocking factory Josef Graber run his own stocking shop since 1922 in Albrechtstraße in Steglitz. The shop existed until 1932. Then Josef Graber had to give up his business. The address book of 1934 refers to him as a salesman in Zimmermannstraße and since 1935 in Kieler Straße.

Samuel attended the high school and afterwards a commercial school.

The family was forced to accept the subtenant Cäcilie Michel.

On the 2nd April 1942 Josef, Hadassa and Samuel were deported to the Ghetto of Warsaw. They were 57, 51 and 24 years old. Their exact date of death is unknown.
