Louis Haas was born on 26 Dec 1890 in Berlin. His parents were Abraham Meyer Haas (a tailor by trade) and Amalie Haas (nee Moritz) and he was the youngest of 8 siblings. He married Hedwig Haase on 26 Jul 1920 in Berlin and they lived at Melchiorstrasse 28, Berlin, until about 1930 when they moved to Kirchestrasse 2, Tiergarten, Berlin.
At the time of his marriage his occupation was “commercial clerk”. By 1939 he was known to be a company director for Elastophan KG.
He died after transportation on 26 Feb 1943 to Auschwitz I, Poland.
Louis Haas and Hedwig Haas (nee Haase) had two children:
Aribert Haas born on 3 May 1921 in Berlin.
Gisela Haas born on 4 Oct 1923 in Berlin.
