Karoline Bendheim was born on June 16, 1902 in Griedel/Hesse as the daughter of David Bendheim and his wife Clara, née Goldschmidt.
She married Bruno Mannheim and lived with him in Berlin.
Her husband was an employee. Their daughter Bärbel was born on December 10, 1923.
From 1938 the couple lived in Zehlendorf at Argentinische Allee 4 as tenants and caretakers of Carl Fuchs.
The daughter Bärbel managed to escape from Germany.
Karoline and Bruno Mannheim still had to move to Levetzowstrasse 13. From there they were deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp on December 9, 1942.
Bruno Mannheim was murdered on January 1, 1943; Karoline Mannheim has no known date of death.
