Ester Wolf was born on 2 January 1896 in Debica, Poland.
All we know about her life in Poland is that she married Ascher Jonas Drucker there, with whom she emigrated to Berlin after the First World War.
The young couple wanted to improve their professional and financial situation and also hoped for more freedom for Jews in the big city. Both worked in the tailor's shop. They lived at Linienstraße 218 in Berlin-Mitte.
In 1920, their elder daughter Dora (Dvora) was born. The second daughter, Ruth, was born in 1925. The parents managed to send Dora to England with a Kindertransport in 1939. Ruth managed to flee Berlin for Palestine with a group of other girls. Both met again in Israel.
Her husband Ascher Jonas Drucker was arrested in September 1939 and taken to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp on 13 September with many other Polish and stateless Jews. His death is recorded there for 11 August 1940. There is no reliable information about the background of his arrest and the circumstances of his death. He was buried in the Jewish cemetery in Berlin-Weißensee.
It is known of Ester Drucker that she performed forced labour at the Siemens-Schuckert-Werke from 25 April 1940 to October 1941. On 1 November 1941, she was deported to the Lodz/Litzmannstadt ghetto. From there she was taken to the Chelmno/Kulmhof concentration camp in May 1942 and murdered there.
